Back Bay Veterinary Hospital

Just moved to OC and searched nearby veterinary near me and wow I’m so excited by far the best Veterinary Hospital I’ve ever brought my dog. The girls in the front are so helpful and sincere about what they do. I was very worried about my dog Nova and called to see if I could get sooner appointment if possible and Brenda made it happen such Angel. Also Dr Fanous is absolutely a saint super caring and definitely spoiled Nova !! I absolutely love this place and recommend to everyone

I cannot say enough about this place - The Doctors are the best I have ever come across. They DO the RIGHT thing! Yesterday the Doctor (soooo nice can't think of his name - he emit's kindness and compassion) helped me with my Little Pomeranian and did something so generous for me. I am way grateful for this place and the care i receive. 8/23 after 6 years of Dr, Fanous and his wonderful staff caring for my babies , Minnie Lou and Ruby I had the privilege of having him see off my Ruby🐶 to the rainbow 🌈 bridge… forever Grateful to this great Veterinary hospital - who knew that they have an onsite crematorium too, it was very cost effective… sad sad day but I’m glad Dr Fanous was there… thank you Dr! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fanous and the staff at Back Bay. I started bringing my beloved Senior Puggle , Sophie here about a year ago after being made to feel at my previous vet like I was a bother to them at the front desk. The staff here is everything you want at your vet - caring, warm, available, patient - just amazing. Dr. Fanous himself is amazing and so gifted at making you and your pet feel like there is nothing as important as what your issue is. He even gives you his cell number to text him after hours!!! NO ONE DOES THAT My Sophie was became very ill while in Dr. Fanous's care- cancer, masses, old age, etc. (she was 14) Dr. Fanous and his staff were endlessly patient with me up until the very end, when his vet techs Rocky and Melina helped my Sophie cross the rainbow bridge in my home, in my arms. He was also incredibly helpful in getting ME over the hurdle of "now is the time" Please do yourself a favor and look no further than Back Bay and Dr. Fanous for any pet care you need. Dr. Fanous has been the vet for my kitties for the last ~7 years and I can't imagine going to anyone else again. His bedside manner is wonderful, especially as someone who gets very anxious when vet visits are coming up. He's taken wondeful care of my babies and helps me make sure they're set up to have the longest time possible with me.

The best vet I’ve ever been to!!!!! Also I thought I reviewed Back Bay before but maybe that was on yelp. My most favorite thing I like about this place is they do not overcharge you and recommend unnecessary things. You know for this place to be in Newport Beach I thought it was gonna be super expensive and it’s one of the more affordable know it is the most affordable that I’ve ever been to in my 56 years and since I was 18 I’ve always had a dog or two. All the doctors are wonderful I always go to Dr Fanous and he has a heart of gold like what an amazing man… They take care of my Pomeranian little minnie Lou and my miniature pincher Ruby with Great care. I am very grateful to Back Bay veterinary hospital🙏🙏🤩

Outstanding in every possible way! They have a system set up where you wait in your car until a room is ready. It doesn't take long. Thereafter, the rooms are comfortable and although I failed to remember the Vet Tech's name, she couldn't have been more welcoming and a consummate professional. Dr. Fanous is the most caring, patient, informative Vet we have ever met. Michelle, the manager, was also incredibly helpful. Sidney, our new puppy, loved everybody! Everyone took the time to answer all our questions, gave us lots of useful information to take home and we left confident that Sidney will receive premium healthcare. Additionally, affordable! I must almost mention they have a wonderful app that conveniently has your appointments, easy communication with practice, etc... Please consider checking them out - your pet will thank you!

I am so happy with the care and support the Vets provide at this office. I have brought in 2 different cats, each completely different ages and separate issues, and everyone took so much interest in their comfort and have great communication . All the office staff are very caring as well. I will only bring my cats here forever and my dog as well moving forward.
